UAV for Mine Detection

To ensure safety from explosives such as mines and IEDs is to maintain a safe distance. We discuss here the concept of a metal mine detector mounted on a quad copter- which is being used as an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). This allows a person to detect and detonate the explosive from a safe distance minimizing the risk. The UAV also allows reconnaissance of a surrounding area as by transmitting a video to the person controlling it.
