Ueli Matti (born February 10, 1959) is a Swiss slalom canoer who competed in the early to mid 1990s. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he earned his best finish of fifth in the C-2 event at Barcelona in 1992. Whitewater Slalom (Canoe slalom since November 2008) is a competitive sport where the aim is to navigate a decked canoe or kayak through a course of hanging gates on river rapids in the fastest time possible. It is one of the two kayak and canoeing disciplines at the Summer Olympics, and is referred to by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) as "canoe slalom". The other Olympic canoeing discipline is canoe sprint.
