Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Ugaki Kazusige was a Japanese general and politician of Taish and Showa periods. Born in Okayama, he served as War Minister several times. He formed a faction, but he lost support when he refused the post of Prime Minister during the March Incident. In 1937, after the formation of the Hirota Cabinet, Kazusige attempted to form a cabinet but failed. The following year, he served a brief term as a foreign minister under Konoe Fumimaro''s cabinet. After World War II, he was elected to House of Councillors with the highest number of votes.
