Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Uj El re (Hungarian for ''New Forward'') was a Hungarian language communist newspaper published in New York. Uj El re was founded as a continuation of the Hungarian socialist newspaper El re, which had been founded in 1905. As of 1925 Uj El re had a circulation of around 15 000. It was the sole Hungarian-language communist daily newspaper in the world at the time. Uj El re was later closed down, and substituted with Magyar Jöv (''Hungarian Future'') after a period of hibernation. Communism is a social structure in which, theoretically, classes are abolished and property is commonly controlled, as well as a political philosophy and social movement that advocates and aims to create such a society. Karl Marx, the father of communist thought, posited that communism would be the final stage in society, which would be achieved through a proletarian revolution and only possible after a socialist stage develops the productive forces, leading to a superabundance of goods and services.
