The ASIANET FILM AWARDS, are presented annually by the Ujala & Asianet - A TV Channel in Kerala to honour both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in Mollywood, the Malayalam language film industry. Instituted in 1998, the ceremony is held in India to distribute awards every year. The awards will be distributed during a four-hour star night to be held at the Chandrasekharan Nair Stadium here on January 16. Here are the awards: The Hariharan-M T Vasudevan Nair duo''s historical ''Pazhassiraja'' has won the Ujala-Asianet Best Film award. Mohanlal won the Ujala- Asianet Best Actor award for his performances in ''Bhramaram'' and ''Ividam Swargamanu''. Mammootty was declared the Millennium Actor.
