ULCV A POTENTIAL THREAT TO URDBEAN PRODUCTION

Urdbean is an important pulses crop grown worldwide. Urdbean seed contain protein (24%), phosphoric acid and lycine it serves a cheaper source of protein for the poor man, it is rightly called the poor man's meat.ULCV is an important disease of urdbean in Pakistan because it causes huge losses in production of urdbean. The susceptible germplasm and favorable environmental conditions also contribute towards the wide spread outbreak of viral diseases.
