It started operating in 1997. The foundation stone was laid by Moulana Qari Siddiq Bandwi saheb, a great luminary of the present age. The initiation ceremony was graced by a host of great aalims including Moulana Rafiq Barodwi. The imam since inception is Moulana Gulam Ahmed saheb and the muazzin is Rashid Ahmed saheb. Nowadays, it is famous for hosting the annual i''tiqaf/khanqah of Hazrat Moulana Zulfiqar Ahmed Naqshbandi saheb in which devotees and followers from all over the world come for a ten-day spiritual experience.
