Umunthu Theology

The book is a contribution to the ongoing theological investigations in Africa to establish a contextual understanding and identity of Jesus of Nazareth. Therefore, the book is primarily for lecturers and students of theology and religious studies in institutions of higher learning, as well as those with keen interest in the subject of inculturation. The book could also be of help especially to public policy makers at political and administrative level because it has elements that could guide the development and implementation of public policies and plans that would ensure a human-centred social transformation.

Gerard Chigona is a doctoral laureate, scholar and author. His major academic credentials include Ph.D (Social Ethics), M.A (Humanities), and B.A (Humanities). He has studied with the Catholic Philosophical and Theological Colleges in Malawi, the University of Malawi and the Catholic University of Leuven-K.U Leuven, in Belgium.
