UN Habitat and Urban Renewal in Lagos Nigeria

The problem of urbanization and environmental degradation is becoming acute in many developing countries including Nigeria. In response, the international community, through the United Nation, has expressed grave concern over the problem by adopting a seven-point Millennium Development Goals (MDG) which include a mandate on environmental issues. This book examines the activities and contribution of UN-Habitat in addressing environmental issues germane to urban renewal in Lagos State Nigeria
