The present book identifies an interest in overcoming a panoramic and innovative vision of the past decades to offer the current reader a series of discursive creations that attempt to look at the issues that have remained under the Latin American cultural skin. Migrations, prisons, covert violence, the media; these are just some of the aspects that have emerged in recent years.

Oscar Ortega Arango holds a PhD in Philosophy (Mesoamerican Studies) and is a professor at the Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán (Mexico). His books include LEER EL CUERPO, CUERPO Y PODER, EL YO INCONCLUSO, PALABRA Y REFLEXIÓN, VILLA Y ZAPATA: HOMBRES EN EL PAPEL, among others.
