Understanding Overdentures

Overdenture is a preventive dentistry concept. Its prognosis is influenced by numerous factors like patient selection, treatment planning, mouth preparation, execution of prosthodontic work and oral hygiene maintenance. Overdenture offers the patient a gain in neuromuscular performance thereby giving him an edge over his edentulous counterpart.
