Understanding Persons with Disability in Beggar's Home

This book describes the issues and concerns of inmates with disability in an institution like beggar's home. This study has been conducted in two metropolitan cities like Mumbai and Delhi.It also compared the facilities for inmates with disability in these two Beggar's Home in different cities.This study also came out with some suggestions to improve the facilities for inmates with disability in Beggar's Home.

Ms.Mohita is Assistant Professor in Delhi University College .She obtained B.Sc(Hons) occupational therapy from Delhi University and M.A. in Disability Management(Social Work) from TISS, Mumbai.
