Understanding the Next Generation Digital Library

Information that the Digital library contained change as the development of the times. Accordingly, the technology to be introduced, the user's tendency, the issues to be addressed, and the components change. For example, in recent years, the introduction of RFID, NFC, QR Code, IoT, Situation recognition technology, Google Glass technology, Semantic Web, Linked Data, etc. are being discussed. In addition, improvement of user service based on the user's level of literacy evaluation, violation of user privacy caused by digital technology, evaluation of library digitization level is discussed as big issues. However, technologies and issues that could not be imagined in the next generation will be discussed. This book covers the current issues and technologies of digital libraries under the title of the next-generation digital library.

Younghee Noh has an MA and a Ph.D. in Library & Information Science from Yonsei University, Seoul. She has published more than 50 books and 120 papers, including 3 books awarded as Outstanding Academic Books by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
