University Incubators in Manaus

Entrepreneurship and innovation are increasingly relevant aspects on the world stage, especially at a time when start-ups are seeking to fit into the Start-up model, encouraged by the success stories of large companies. One of the agents that permeates this innovative chain, incubators, plays a unique role. This study focuses on this topic, investigating it through a case study of two representative institutions in the state of Amazonas, which are the educational institutions FUNDAÇÃO CENTRO DE ANÁLISE, PESQUISA E INOVAÇÃO TECNOLÓGICA - FUCAPI AND THE MARTHA FALCÃO COLLEGE - FMF. These institutions provided a small sample and snapshot of the university incubator movement in Brazil.
