University Reflections

It is our fundamental objective to deepen the theme of the university as the legitimate site for the development of science and as the guiding institution for the formation of human resources for national development. We make fundamental emphasis on the ethics and style of the university, on the difficulties that confront our highest houses of studies, on the need for a university scientific policy, on science as a factor of national sovereignty, on student participation and the preservation of the ethical values of the university and above all on the democratization of science to tend more and more towards a third culture. We hope that our considerations, strategic guidelines of scientific policy, may be useful for the new generations that will lead the destinies of the university institution in the present century.
