Unpredictable discoveries
Details
Scientific forecasts usually extrapolate current trends of scientific development. Quite often such discoveries come true. However, sometimes, unpredicted discoveries also happen (e.g., penicillin). This book presents unpredicted discoveries, which, however, were not made accidentally, but are the result of a dedicated search. Here belong: the concept of crisis-proof economy; the principle of physical reality of complex numbers, which allowed correcting the current interpretation of the special theory of relativity; the hypothesis of the Multiverse, with exploration of its resources providing for a more rapid development of the humanity; the new global/regional information network free from the shortcomings of the Internet; the concept of human-computer super-intelligence. The book is intended for the readership interested in the current state and development of modern science - for students making their first steps in science and, therefore, most receptive to new ideas, as well as for university tutors, mature scientists, experienced engineers, top-managers, who are broad-minded and, thus, able to perform comprehensive analysis and evaluate the new concepts suggested herein.
