This book encapsulates the author's desire to present the journey Korean cities have undertaken towards growth and to illustrate urban redevelopment cases in Korea aimed at capturing new values and future lifestyles. It provides a theoretical and academic understanding of urban growth and evaluates the stages of urban growth at the metropolitan and regional levels in Korea. Furthermore, the book introduces urban redevelopment cases for new and old urban areas in Korea based on different stages of urban growth. This book will serve as an introduction to urban redevelopment techniques in Korea and become a valuable resource for urban planning and policy formulation.
