Urban Infrastructure Integration & Challenges in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia

Urban infrastructure greatly affects the welfare of citizens & efficient functioning of the urban systems. The provision and management of this infrastructure becomes much complicated on increased world urbanization. Particularly utility infrastructures could be provided either on the surface, underground or overhead basis. Institutional and spatial integration is so important for the reliability & efficiency functioning of the systems. Spatial, financial & institutional integration plays vital roles to use wisely the available resources for different urban development issues on priority basis. Therefore, urban localities and responsible institutions are much expected to play their key roles & responsibilities in processes of such urban infrastructure integration.
