Urban Sociology in the Age of Cities

Spatial and geographic issues have always been seen as a part of social dialogue and relations. Therefore, urban geography may be considering as vital indicator of development of urban archipelago throughout emerging socio-political synthesis of models and plans engaging class, way of living, gender, economy, culture, politics, and act. Urban geography is focal arena for the struggle for self-expression and crucibles for the exploration of social innovation and cultural dignity. In connection with self-expression and communal identities in the urban geography, cities are landscapes of socially and culturally diversified areas where contains our workplaces, our residences, recreation areas, and our commercial marketplaces. There is a new urban geography of cities that gives each citizen an analytic window on the character of urban interdependency. This solidarity is key concept that terrain through central theme of urban citizenship.

Je suis diplômé du département de design urbain et d'architecture paysagère de l'université Bilkent et du département d'administration publique de l'université anatolienne. J'ai obtenu une maîtrise en sciences à l'université de Greenwich, au Royaume-Uni. Après avoir passé des années à l'Université technique de Delft et à l'École normale supérieure, j'ai obtenu un doctorat à l'Université de Vienne. J'enseigne à l'Université d'Amasya depuis 2017.
