To reach the large audience and the readers, Quran was undergone for translation into various languages. Urdu is also an important median for the translation of Qur'an. This is a study about the Urdu translations of Qur'an in Indian subcontinent. Urdu is the official language of Muslims of Indian subcontinent. The author can say that almost, entire Urdu translations are published or written from Indian subcontinent. The author tries in this study to unlock the door to this area of study. There are several translations in Urdu language. Here the researcher can make aware the people and scholars about the Urdu translations of Qur'an. The author carrying the study through the history and the growth of Urdu translations of Qur'an.
