UROGENITAL CANCERS

In our country, urogenital cancers are dominated by cancers of the urothelial mucosa, due to the main proven carcinogenic factor represented by tobacco. followed by other cancers of the prostate, kidney, testicle and penis.Some forms reach locally advanced or metastatic stages.In this book, we will attempt to give an overview of this uro-oncological pathology, and to understand the mechanisms involved, the diagnostic and therapeutic aspects currently available to us, and the therapeutic advances, innovations and hopes in this field, in particular the contribution of molecular biology, immunotherapy and the onco-genetic aspect.I would like to pay tribute to all the people I have met in my career as a urologist, and with whom I share this fascinating specialty full of prowess and innovation.Pr Ag D.H.
