Use of Continuous Release Forms of Medication

The presence of a certain and constant blood concentration of the drug during the treatment period seems necessary in many diseases. In order to achieve an effective blood level of a drug, the patient has to take repeated doses of the drug, and this in the case of diseases whose treatment period is long or lifetime, causes the patient not to accept and refuse to use the drug correctly and in a timely manner. Side effects can occur. The use of continuous release forms of medication can significantly help to solve these problems.Also, the kinetics of drug withdrawal from the stomach are more predictable due to particle size, less local side effects, and drug release are more controlled and appropriate, and the risks of drug release are sudden.
