Use of PET bottles and practices for teaching science

In recent years, waste production has increased exponentially. One way to minimize this problem is through recycling and reuse. This publication offers several options for practical experiments for science teaching using PET bottles, as well as various practical activities for classroom development with the aim of engaging elementary and high school students in science classes.

Graduated in Biological Sciences (Bachelor's Degree) from the Federal University of Paraná, Master's and Doctorate in Physiological Sciences from the Federal University of São Carlos, he is currently an Adjunct Professor II at the Federal University of Amazonas, where he teaches Cell Biology and advises students in graduate programs.
