Utilization of HMIS Data for decision making in Nyaruguru District

There is a need by the health sector of developing countries to use the limited resource effectively in order to provide an efficient and equitable health service to the communities. This then requires sound management that is based on information, which is crucial at each level of the health service management.Difficulties in achieving health targets, such as the Millennium Development Goals, 2020 Vision and growing consumer demand have forced health planners to look for innovative ways to improve the outcomes of health-care and public-health initiatives while controlling service costs.

Sou licenciado em Psicologia Clínica pela Universidade Nacional do Ruanda e tenho um mestrado em Saúde Pública, com especialização em Gestão de Serviços de Saúde, pela Universidade Mount Kenya.
