High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Valentin Niculae Calafeteanu (born Bucharest, 25 January 1985) is a Romanian rugby union player. His position it's scrum-half. He plays for Dinamo Bucharest. Calafeteanu his one of the most promising Romanian young players, having his first game for Romania, in 20 November 2004, with Japan, in a 25-10 win, aged only 19. He currently helds 25 caps for Romania, with 3 tries, 9 conversions, 11 penalties and 1 drop goal scored, in an aggregate of 69 points. He won the European Six National Championship Cup, Group B, in 2006. He also played all the four games, three of them as a substitute, at the 2007 Rugby World Cup finals, where he scored a conversion in the 14-10 win over Portugal.
