Validating Antecedants as Predictors in Entrepreneurial Orientation

The key focus of this study is to provide research evidence for the predictive model Entrepreneurial Orientation Firm Performance and the relationship(s) of the antecedent s: Owner/Manager Biographics, Firm Demographics, External Environemnt, and Internal Organisation factors might have with a firm s Entrepreneurial Orientation Firm Performance. Overall, the scales and subscales used in the study produced acceptable reliability coefficients. The results of the study confirmed EE, IO, Firm Demographics, and Founder/Owner/Manager Biographical data, as antecedents of EO. Closer analysis of the dimensions of FP revealed that Internal Process Efficiencies showed a small but significant, negative correlation with EO scores. Results further revealed that EO scores show a significant, high, positive correlation with EE scores.
