Valorization of clays and clay wastes in cement industry

Clays and clay wastes are very much available in nature. The valorization of these materials in certain industries such as cement can present many advantages. This book deals with the possibility of using these materials as artificial pozzolans in the cement industry. It gives an overview on elaboration of reactive materials from clays and clay wastes, this reactivity is measured by pozzolanic activity, where some tests and examples are presented in detail.

Mohammed SILINE ist Dozent für Bauingenieurwesen an der Universität M'sila in Algerien. Er erhielt 2016 seinen Doktortitel und 2018 seinen HDR. Seine Forschungsarbeiten befassen sich mit Baumaterialien, insbesondere mit Zement und mineralischen Zusätzen, Beton, Geopolymeren.
