Education plays an important role in the process of social change,is very potential instrument, a powerful medium of bringing about changes in the society. The Changes brought about by education are permanent and transcendent. With the help of new communication media, modern methodology and latest instructional materials, education bring about changes in the society. Any Educational policy is crucial factor for survival, providing people with an opportunity to reflect on critical, social, economic, cultural, moral and spiritual issues facing humanity and thus the main instrument for development and change, which has the important task of preparing leaders for different walks of life-social, intellectual, political, cultural, scientific & technological. Universities and Colleges function as the focal centers of Higher Education. The growing concern over the erosion of values and increasing cynicism in society, particularly among the younger generation has brought to focus the need for readjustment in order to make education a forceful tool for cultivation of social, ethical and moral values. It is hoped that this book shall act as a lighthouse for educational administrators.
