Variation im städtischen Raum

In Buenos Aires, the coexistence of the voiced eísmo and the voiceless eísmo is a striking phonetic characteristic that remains a highly dynamic phenomenon. This urban dialectological and sociolinguistic study uses a diasystemic perspective to focus on the synchronal distribution of the pre-palatal variants and discusses both place and group specific and pragmatic factors influencing the variation.

Die stadtdialektologisch und soziolinguistisch ausgerichtete Studie fokussiert aus diasystematischer Perspektive die synchrone Distribution der präpalatalen Varianten und diskutiert neben gruppen- und ortsspezifischen auch pragmatische Faktoren der Variation.
