Preventive foot care programs for amputees or patients without the ability to walk should place greater emphasis on the evaluation carried out in the Vascular Laboratory to identify patients at risk and on the development of timely intervention strategies since they are strongly associated with bilateral amputation.Change the life of a person classified as "Senior" who consults for opposing an amputation due to having an arterial ischemic insufficiency where conventional medical treatment and/or surgery have failed for life, or a venous ulcer, in which when performed a controlled program in a Vascular Rehabilitation service that offers the opportunity you were looking for, deserves to be informed.We have good experience in treating this type of patient, so the dissemination of the knowledge acquired in them is more than a necessity, an obligation.
