VEGF-A/VEGFR-2 signaling in angiogenesis

Angiogenesis is the complex process of formation of new blood vessels from the pre-existing vasculature in the postnatal life. Studies reported that targeting angiogenesis is considered a useful therapeutic approach in a number of pathological conditions including cancer. This book provides an overview of VEGF-A mediated angiogenic signaling.
