Views Matter

This book is a collection of studies on cultural practices of the tribal communities in the upland areas of Ilocos Sur, Philippines. Most of the respondents in the studies are students of North Luzon Philippines State College in Candon City, Ilocos Sur who are members of the different tribal communities in Ilocos Sur, Philippines such as the Bagos, Tingguians and Kankanaeys. Other respondents are members and officials of different tribal communities in the province of Ilocos Sur, Philippines.

Severino G. Alviento ist Absolvent des Doktoratsstudiums der öffentlichen Verwaltung an der Universität der Nordphilippinen. Er ist der derzeitige Vizepräsident für Verwaltung, Forschung und Erweiterung des North Luzon Philippines State College. Er hat Forschungen über indigene Völker, Regierungsführung, Umweltschutz und andere gesellschaftliche Belange durchgeführt.
