Visualising Steampunk

Visualising Steampunk focuses on the idea of using production design methods, combined with a reworking of the Victorian aesthetic, to develop a quintessential look for Steampunk. Using a movie script as a basis, author Dominique Falla developed production design sketches, digital paintings and props for a hypothetical filmed version. The resulting visual thesis points to an exciting new direction for Steampunk.

Dominique Falla is a designer who loves technology, branding and all things Steampunk. She lectures in graphic design at Griffith University on Australia''s Gold Coast and is currently studying for her PhD where she is developing the concept of ''Creativity Fitness''.
