VLSI Based Fast Efficient Lossless Image Compression System
Details
The lossless image compression system for VLSI based fast efficient Simplified Adjusted Binary Code and then the Golomb Rice Code algorithm is proposed to present the lossless image compression. The compressed images are converted into the binary form conversion and these files are implemented in to Xilinx Platform Studio. SABC algorithm used reduces the number of mathematical processes and achieves high processing speed. The FGRC algorithm is used to remove data dependency so the processing power is low. The color difference of pre processing is also planned to improve coding effectiveness with mathematical process of VLSI based SABC algorithm is used to provide successful solution for VLSI implementation for pixels level process. The performance of the VLSI based image compression approach is analyzed with the terms such as, gate signal, frequency, clock cycles required, power, processing rate and time. This method can be further enhanced by the implementation of Field Programmable Gate Array kit.

He is currently working as an Professor, Anna University Recognized as a Research Supervisor for guiding Ph.D, & Research centre lab, Francis Xavier Engineering College, Tamilnadu, India.
