Vocabulary Learning Through Crossword Puzzles

Vocabulary has a prominent role in language learning and it is one of the core components of language. It is considered as one of the important aspects in the foreign/second language learning. One of the useful ways for teaching and learning vocabulary is crossword puzzles. In addition, crossword puzzles are an excellent way to teach vocabulary and they cover English language skills such as vocabulary and spelling (Paul, 2003; Jones, 2007). The present book provides 1000 essential words within 100 lessons. This book is useful for EFL/ESL learners and it might provide valuable help for teachers for teaching vocabulary.
