(April 4, 2004 - ) is a Japanese racehorse that won the 2007 GI Tokyo Y?shun, Japanese Derby, the first filly to win this race in 64 years, as well as winning the 2009 Japan Cup.In 2007, Vodka won her first two starts. Then in the G1 Oka Sho, the first jewel of the Japanese Filly Triple Crown , Daiwa Scarlet nosed out Vodka for the win.[2] Daiwa Scarlet and Vodka would go on to meet a total of 4 times that year. Daiwa Scarlet came out ahead in 3 of those meetings. One of those wasn't a win though, in the 2007 GI Arima Kinen Daiwa Scarlet came in 2nd to , with Vodka coming in 11th.
