It is the oldest Dutch football magazine that is still running. As of 2006, VI is published by WP Sports Media. Cees van Cuilenborg runs the magazine and Johan Derksen is chief editor. The magazine is read by approximately 800,000 people every week. In addition to the regular magazine that comes out every Wednesday, VI makes guides before the start of the competitions each season. For years they have made a guide for the Dutch season, with the scheme and information about every team and its players. The past few years, Voetbal International has made guides for the English, German, French, Belgian and Spanish competitions as well.
