High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Volzhskaya (Russian: ~ Volga) is a station on the Moscow Metro's Lyublinskaya Line. The station was opened on 28 December, 1995 as the final part of the first stage of the Lyblinsky radius and was the line's terminus for just under a year (evidence of which can be seen just behind the station where former cross junction tunnels can still be seen.The station is the first in Moscow to be built to a new design known as a single deck. In such a case the ceiling plate is made of individual long concrete slabs that are used for automobile bridges and they are lowered on the strengthened walls of the station.
