Wage Determination in Steel Industry - A study on Rourkela Steel Plant

Analysis of the Wage Agreements in the Steel Industry in India since the beginning and its journey for more than four and half decades. The impact of Wage Agreements on Production, Productivity, Safety and Employee Motivation has been analyzed threadbare. This study also highlights the cordial and harmonious environment in which various Trade Union Leaders at the National Level and the Management of Steel Industry, both in public sector and private sector, discussed and debated on various issues relating to the plant and its human resources and arrived at the final agreements.
