Wahhabi Islam

The birth of Sheik Mohammed Ibn Al-Wahhab and the alliance with the Al Saud tribe led to the birth of the modern Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. As Worldwide terrorist attacks brought Islam to the attention of the world as never before, an unattractive image of the faith has now become widely perceived in the West as a militant and highly charged fundamentalist movement having endless suicidal fanatics with a grudge against the West in general and the United States in particular. The author unmasks the myths surrounding the practice of Islam, the Wahhabi creed, and their strict adherence to one of the more conservative belief systems practiced in Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Tristan D. Cajar is a professor of language and culture in the United States. Having spent time in the Middle East, he became interested in the questions surrounding the Islamic faith. Dr. Cajar holds a Ph.D. in Transpersonal Psychology from Sedona University, Arizona.
