Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Waldemar Kazanecki (born 29 April 1929 in Warsaw, Poland, died 20 December 1991 in Warsaw) was a Polish pianist, conductor and composer.Waldemar Kazanecki came to professional music a little late, mostly owing to the outbreak of the Second World War, which interrupted his schooling and his childhood when he was ten years old. He managed to survive the hardships of those years and resume his education, breaking into his field as a music editor on Polish Radio in 1954, at age 25. He later became a pianist in the Jerzy Harald Orchestra and eventually became a bandleader, running a dance orchestra. Kazanecki''s earliest efforts as a professional composer took the form of writing songs for his own performing group, including numbers such as the "Cocoa Mambo" and similar Western-style faux-pop pieces. He broke into movies with his score for the film Hrabina Cosel.
