War on Terror: America's Decline in the 21st Century

What are the effects of the grammar of the war on terror on US hegemony after the fall of the Soviet Union? This book shows how the United States lost its first war of the twenty-first century thanks to a series of transformations in the principles of the use of force, whose effects on American hegemony are given by a deinstitutionalized and transnational exercise of political violence in which war becomes a unilateral form of globalization.
