Waste Management Action Plan for the Municipality of Prishtina

This work is related to the Waste Management,most problematical sector in the new born state,Republic of Kosovo.As many transition countries in the region Kosovo is facing hug challenges in this sector and the book is small contribution toward the initial steps to establish modern management system of waste collection in municipal level.This work aims to increase the awareness of citizens about the 3R Waste Management-Reducing, Reusing and Recycling Waste.Hope that this will impact the improvements and serves as initial step for further researches in this field.

Dr.sci.Ibrahim Krsniqi, lives in Prishtina.He has finished his Doctoral studies at the Faculty of Energy and Management at TU Clausthal(D).Before he completed two Master Degrees, 1st in the University of Freiberg&2nd in the Rochester NY(USA).He has large experience on Lecturing,Research,Consultancy and worked long time in Public Sector in Kosovo.
