Wat Sen, Luang Prabang also known as Wat Sene Souk Haram is a Buddhist temple (wat), located in Luang Phrabang, Laos.It was built in 1718 by King Kitsarath with 100 000 stones from the Mekong river. It literally means "Temple of a 100 000 treasures". It was restored in 1957 commemorating the Buddha s birth 2500 years earlier.Wat Saravan is a wat in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. It is located to the northwest of the Royal Palace of Cambodia and southwest of Wat Ounalom.It is said to have over 3,400 manuscripts in what has been described as the largest library in the country.A wat (derived from the [P li] word vatthu- r ma) is a monastery temple in Cambodia, Thailand, or Laos. The word "wat" (Khmer: , Thai: , sometimes rendered "vat" when referring to Laos) means "school".
