Water, Economy and Politic (Kurdistan Region-Iraq)

This book is about the unknown richest area, regarding, water share per person in the Middle East and North Africa. In this region, water plays a crucial role in economic development, and socio-political stability. Kurdistan, mainly, Kurdistan region-Iraq is situated in the middle of tensions over water. It has become a crossroad between the political and economic interests of the global and the regional powers. It is a unique example of interactions between water; politic; predominantly, Kurdish question; and economy. The book explains mismanagement reduces the economic value of water. It demonstrates that water war over the Tigris and the Euphrates is not on the table, thanks for virtual water.
