This book is an attempt to provide a comprehensive definition of the subject matter and scope of watershed development and management. It reviews the natural endowment of water and land resources within a watershed and describes the principal methods for its conservation. It provides geospatial approach and thinking to natural resource development. Dr. Sachin Panhalkar is Assistant Professor of Geography at Shivaji University, MS, India. He has completed his Ph.D in Watershed Management. He has more than eight years of research experience in the field of Geoinformatics and credited with several research papers in journals of national and international repute.
