Watershed Management for Rural Development

Water is very crucial issue at present world. Rural development s also related with proper utilization of water. Pathalia Unions development will depends on water and water related problems. Rural development as Pathalia is near the Savar Paurasava but still it seen as rural. Information collected as different physical, structured, unstructured interview and key informant survey or interview (KII). Rural watershed is very applicable for rural development. Watershed area is 7102acres where different water bodies linkup with main watershed. Uses of water will different due to different natural and simulated sources water. Transportation, communication, irrigation, fishing, cattle wash, bathing, cleaning, dark rising is commonly used of water. Tube well and tap is the main sources of drinking water which almost cover more than ninety percent of total house hold. Water and development are greatly related because problems of both development activities and water where development activities affected by scarcity of water, water logging, water pollution and clay on road and development activities also reason for this problem.
