Waveguides with Sharp Steps in the Cross Section

This book proposes a method for extending the bandwidth of rectangular waveguides. It consists of using steps with sharp edges in the cross section of the guide, located along the propagation direction. Also, with the theory presented in the book one can calculate the critical wave numbers of the waveguides with one or two ridges.

Although I graduated Electrical faculty, my entire career I have worked as an Instrument and Controls Engineer. Most of my activity has been performed at the petrochemical complex OLTCHIM SA in Romania. I have worked, also, as training specialist at BIPC Iran, Borouge -United Arab Emirates and at Qatar Petroleum in Qatar.
