Ways to build trust

After a theoretical introduction to the topics covered, the author provides insight into the practical application of trauma-informed education. Through interviews conducted at the Reethira residential facility, a trauma-informed educational institution in Stainz in the Austrian province of Styria, she conveys an impression of what everyday trauma-informed educational work can look like, particularly with young women suffering from borderline personality disorder.

Tanja Kreinig was born in Innsbruck in 1986, where she grew up and later studied education. Since 2014, she has been working as a social integration support worker for people with disabilities. She is currently training to become a psychotherapist specialising in catathymic imaginative therapy.
