Weather Forecasting System using Computational Intelligence Methods

This research work focuses on the cloud based short term weather forecasting system by using Numerical weather prediction model. Here cloud platform is applied for preparing the regional weather forecasting model by using Infrastructure as a service. Special focus on developing the countries which have limited access to traditional supercomputing facilities. Infrastructure as a service capacity is used for getting regional weather simulations with the help of Amazon Elastic compute cloud resources. Here Short-term weather forecasting system using Computational intelligence approaches are described.

Dr. Perepi Rajarajeswari is Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Vellore Institute of Technology, India. She has contributed to the publication of over 25 research papers in SCI and Scopus Journals, four books and four patents. She completed her Ph.D in computer science and engineering at JNTU Hyderabad.
